Fruit Cravings

Yes, I am back to my fruit cravings!

Here is a little back story:
When I was pregnant with Ryan I had to have watermelon EVERYDAY!!! I literally made hubby buy me a WHOLE watermelon which I would eat ALL by myself. I just needed it and now so does Ryan. LOL! Go figure he lived on watermelon in my belly so I suppose it is only natural right?

NOW:
We are back at FRUIT MANIA! I need it and so does Ryan he LOVES fruit. Last Wednesday we went to the supermarket and bought half a watermelon and 10 peaches, by Friday they were gone!

Yesterday(Friday), I went to the supermarket at night and bought:

10 Peaches
1 Whole Watermelon
3 Granny Smith Apples
1 Bowl of cut Watermelon
1 Bowl of cut Pineapple

We did not get Grapes because Hubby gave us the "are you serious look". :)

So far we(Ryan and I) have eaten:
WHOLE watermelon
1 Bowl of cute Watermelon
1 Bowl of Pineapple
1 Peach

LOL! Yes just me and him. We are actually finishing the last of the Watermelon right now. It is so juicy and yummy!

So I suppose baby in me will be fruit baby too. I guess my cravings could be worst right?
Only bad side......one to many restroom visits from all the liquid. LOL!

In honor of my craving I was thinking of getting these shoes:

What do you think? Not my style anyhow! LOL!

Thanks for visiting! :)

Pacifer Addiction

Yes, Ryan is 17 months and LOVES his paci to no end. I don't know who is more addicted to it, him or me. Not that I would let me have it till he is 5 but for now it does not bother me. Our doctor says he can keep it until 2 yrs old because taking it away before might not be a good idea in her opinion.

My only fear is that baby #2 is coming 2 months before he turns 2 and that he might see her/him with the paci and take it away and use it. lol! Any suggestions?

So I decided to share Pics of RYan and his beloved PACI!

Thanks for visiting and don't forget that our BLOG BASH STARTS NEXT WEEK!!

15 weeks and counting.....pregnancy talk!

Oh Man! I thought we were past the first trimester feeling icky, throwing up, and nausea. Um....apparently body does not think so and baby either. I still throw but about 4-5 nights a week and hate all food MOST OF THE TIME.

I think what is good so far is I HATE.....I MEAN HATE FAST FOOD! It is at this point absolutely GROSS! I loved it before and now I can't even so much as smell it.

My belly is starting to curve and Ryan is starting to act clingy....Pregnancy is in FULL FORCE. I also washed all my old pregnancy clothes I saved because I knew I was having another and would need it. I am excited to fit into it ALL!!

So what about SEX.....wait....no...not that....but the BABY's SEX? Well we hope to find out in two weeks how exciting is that huh? I will be honest about how I feel about this. I really wish I could be one of those people that wait for the baby to be born and announce to the world I AM A....., but I am far to controlling for that. Yes I admit it I am controlling! I want to know what it is and get going in planning everything for it boy or girl.

So, do I want a boy or girl?
In my heart of hearts I know I will love my child not matter what it is but, I am siding and hoping for A GIRL! SUE ME! I want to be able to buy all the girlie things and make all the bows for her. So what if it is a BOY? I am sure Ryan will be happy he is such man's boy and would probably love a lil brother to torture(in a loving way). About Ryan and girls it cracks me up....because he sees them and just wants to yak their bows and mess up their hair.

You want a belly pic huh??? Coming this week....so stay tuned!

Well I am off to bed because for some reason this baby LOVES the BED!!!

Have a great NIGHT! :)

Marriage/Relationship Time

Today I was think about how relationships need to be nurtured just as babies do. Sometimes as parents we get caught up in the everyday needs of our children and just on the go go go, that sometimes we forget the little things in our marriages that matter. Sometimes Mommy and Daddy need alone time to reconnect and just get to know each other NOW.

Why do I say NOW? By that I mean when you get married you are one person but as time goes on you change as needed. Your priorities change and you evolve as a person. Maybe when you got married you loved to party but now you are home body. EVERYONE CHANGES and I believe it is important that your loved one get to know the you NOW so you an be on the same page.

Thanks for visiting!!

"Won't Be Little Forever"

I suppose when I was pregnant with Ryan I was so anxious to be a mommy and meet him and get our life together started that I felt that I was rushing everything and every moment. For example when I was 20 weeks I as already reading about week 24 and how exciting they things he would be doing that week would be. Yep.....I was very impatient, I must admit.

When he was born I was ready for him to crawl. When he crawled I was like lets walk now. LOL! Now he RUNS and I find myself saying SLOW DOWN BUDDY you are growing to fast.

I often find myself in tears when I think about how soon he will have a sibling and they will grow so fast and one day no longer need me. How at his first day of school I will be the one in tears and he might be the one consoling me. It breaks my heart to think that one days he won't want me kisses and tells me "please mom don't call me baby in front of my friends."

I have to accept that is how life works and I have to cherish these moments we share now and how grateful I am to be a Stay at Home Mom and be there for him every moment.

Here is Ryan at one week old:

and Here is the Lil Man now:
As the saying goes they "won't be little forever".

Texas OH Texas (VACAY pt.1)

Oh Texas how we miss you already!

Texas was our first stop on our vacation. Only Ryan and I did this part of the trip. It was Ryan's first time in Texas and very special to my heart.

It was wonderful to see him with all my family together and how he fits in so perfectly. He is a little trooper and loves an adventure. At my mom's home he got comfortable quick and by that I mean him climbed on the table, the glass coffee table and took time to beat up a couple of cousins. LOL! He is such a rough boy!
When my mom and dad saw him in their house it was as if for the moment their home was complete. It was great to see how much they love him. My older sister also is such a sucker for the lil man. He has her wrapped around his pinky. My younger sister can't say no to him. She say's he is sooooo cute how can anyone say no to him.

I can imagine if he was to choose a place to live it would be there SPOILED CENTRAL!

This trip was also great for me because I miss my family so much and I missed my mamas food.

I love my family very much and appreciate all they do for me and the lil man.

Here is a sweet moment I wanted to share of Ryan and my daddy.

This post has got me to think about when we are younger how want to rebel so much against our parents and sometimes even say "I will never be like you". As you get older you realize that everything they did was to protect you and for your own good. When you become a parent you realize even more about why they did they things they did and now you want to be just like them. That's life for you!

By the Way today is my niece IVORY'S Birthday and I just want to take a moment to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :)
